Console are more than just graphical tech specs, especially Nintendo consoles, they're about creating an ecosystem for game developers. With the Wii, Nintendo created a new ecosystem with games that made the wii controller, that was initially written off as a gimmick, an integral part of the Wii gaming experience. I think the success of the Switch, as with many consoles, is dependent on the controllers. The switch outputs 1080p docked, and less intensive games will surely be able to play at that resolution. It is disappointing that the new Zelda title will not be able to play in HD, but the price point of the console has to be considered as well.
Yeah... But it does not change the fact I am still sad.
