What were you expecting? Nintendo naysayers will always be Nintendo naysayers. If you were expecting some miraculous console that would sway even the most fervent XBone/PS4 fans into buying it, then of course you're going to end up disappointed. Luckily, Nintendo has been so successful in the past that it almost doesn't matter if their console has mediocre sales. Those who see the value in it will reap the benefits, and the naysayers will continue having fun with other things.
Also, on the topic of BotW, I'm not that invested in Zelda these days, but if I get it, it'll definitely be for the Switch. The Switch framerate looked rock-solid even during graphics-heavy scenes, whereas the Wii U version lagged a bit even just walking through a grassy field.
Lastly, on the HDD/SDXC thing: I thought I read somewhere that it was confirmed in some way or another that the console would have external HDD, but it appears not to be true. Although with SDXC cards space will certainly not be an issue, you can't really beat the speed of an HDD, much less an SSD, with an SD card, even a UHS-3 one.
