I'm an optimist; it's easy for me to see the good in things. ^ᴗ^

It's a good thing actually...for emulation
Compare to a PS4 , my laptop GPU is way too underpowered

Since it's a standard ARM architecture, and since the PS4/One are standard x64 architectures, wouldn't that make emulation a lot easier? It's my understanding that the worst and most resource-heavy part of emulation is faking the features of an architecture you're not on. Is this the case or am I completely wrong?
Back from the grave and working on textures.

If it were that easy, we would have a fully functional OG Xbox emulator now, don't you think? To date, it was probably the console with the closest hardware of an actual PC...

I don't know about ARM, but yes, Intel x86 architecture is not well documented, that's why it's hard to make a good XBox emulator.
From France with love.

Also, Xbox had an NVidia GPU, which are a major pain to emulate

Wait, so the Tegra X1 is only in between the Intel HD4600 and HD530? That's pretty weak...

Where did you read this? I've never seen those directly compared before. Not saying you're wrong just never heard that.  Huh

People also said the Wii U was weak, but it ran plenty of graphics-intensive games perfectly fine, and many titles ran at 60fps. Nintendo knows how to optimize a game. I'm also very tired of "OMG LOOK AT THE SPECS OF THIS SYSTEM IT'S GONNA BLOW ASS"

so am i , but sadly those shout the loudest and word spreads fast. i too think that if developers put some effort into what they make they could get more out of the systems they work with.

also, iirc unreal engine 4 supports the switch so it can't be that bad...
