Nintendo Switch Pro Controller is going nuts

So I finally got a Pro Controller, I've been using it for some games on Steam no problem, but when I try to get it set up with Dolphin, this happens:



Strangely, the same thing happened to my brother when he tried to use his Pro Controller with VisualBoyAdvance. It was a different controller on a different computer, too.

I'm on Windows 10, and my controller is connected via USB.

Just the included USB cable.

I'm not aware of any drivers that exist for it, so no. It uses DirectInput, and works fine with Steam games, but for emulator bindings it apparently goes berserk.

Have you tried Steam's drivers for the controller? You can use it in programs outside of steam (though I'm pretty sure steam needs to be running).

I launched Dolphin from Steam, but now Dolphin wasn't responding to any inputs from the controller, and instead the controller was acting as a mouse and keyboard (which it hadn't done before). I closed the Dolphin and launched it outside of Steam, but this continued to happen. Closed Steam, and then the controller wouldn't do anything at all. Opened Steam, found the desktop configuration for the controller, loaded a config that disables the desktop bindings, went back into Dolphin, and... the controller started acting nuts again.

So if Steam isn't running, the controller doesn't seem to do anything at all, due to a lack of drivers. When Steam is loaded, it has the drivers for the controller, but then it goes crazy when you try to use it for anything but Steam.

Are there any updates? It's still bugging out for me, which is a bit of an issue, because I don't have many other regular controller options at the moment.
