Nintendo Puzzle Collection Panel De Pon-help

I got the Nintendo Puzzle Collection- everything works, although slowly, and when I try to play Panel De Pon, it's just hangs for 2 minutes in start, and then is superslow.

Can anyone help?

Other games (Like Kirby Air Ride) works for me fine.

Thought I'd bump this topic because I'm playing this myself now -- I get really prolonged (~10 sec) freezes every time I advance through a menu option (such that it takes a full couple of minutes to start a game), but then it works perfectly. Only way to get 4 player Panel de Pon that I know of!
