I myself, can only play the odd game or two with Dolphin. (SSBM, MKDD in Time Trial)

My HD2400 PRO AGP card is doing just fine. Fall back to R3785 and post back.

oh i know it doesn't use all CPU power

i asked the same thing too and i got this

gc and wii are consoles too hard for emu, specially when they are 2

a 3.2ghz cpu should run fullspeed in dolphin unless it is a pentium d or something
bullcrap
if i overclock my P4 to 3.2ghz it wont go fullspeed Wink

Maybe whoever told you that has a shit-tastic GPU like me. Even though people say Dolphin is not a GPU intensive application, it still requires a recent mid-range GPU (like a Radeon HD 4650/70 or 4770) or a high-end GPU (like a 3850/70 or 4850/70/90). I myself, can only play the odd game or two with Dolphin. (SSBM, MKDD in Time Trial)

Anyways, you (and everyone else) should probably wait for an official release of Dolphin (which should be coming soon) before doing a review (like KHRZ said) as it is still in heavy development and lot's of serious (and strange) bugs.

Quote:Slow netplay.

Question for developers or anyone else who may have an answer. Wasn't the netplay feature being re-done to use UDP sockets instead of TCP, since TCP likes to be slow and accurate? Or did whoever was working on it stop or leave or something?

- CHR15x94

Netplay now defaults to UDP sockets, but something's wrong as it's still slow with high pings (read : >20ms) Dodgy, also, testing it is really a pain for me as i have to bitch people around to try on the net with me etc.
it makes it really annoying to test changes, so i kind of gave up a little while ago Tongue

Emu Devs (not only dolphin) have nothing to do with this.
This is a review that was done because someone is trying to create a specific program , a Big-Emulator for all nintendo consoles or some sh** like that.
I only helped testing visual boy advance and no$gba, i don't know who tested dolphin ok?

And for all of you ill give you my own review of dolphin:

Compability - 5.0 - I have my ssbb with all trophies and I had chance of finishing RE Remake in hard mode (with cheats).
Interface - 5.0 - Nice, i love the banners.
Requirements - 5.0 - All my PC can run GC and Wii at full speed.
Multiplayer - 4.6 - Me and my friends can play four players but i'm waiting for netplay to work better.
Extras - 5.0 - Can run from the DVD Driver and Action Replay. Oh yeah, just what I needed.
Enhancements - 5.0 - Nothing to say just like in the review.
Support - 5.0 - Easy to configure and i have this forum to make some questions. Better help?
Lvl up my Brawl card!

@ [SS] Starscream
Really? Well, I just gave r3785 a try. It runs about the same as the recent builds.

In SSBM, I get full speed with two characters, about 90% with three and 60-70% with four. I'm sure it's just my computer, considering I'm using an OEM computer (HP Pavilion Elite m9458f). Hopefully I can get a new one when my B-Day and Christmas come around...

@ sl1nk3
Oh, I see. Do you check for packets constantly or just before or after the frame is drawn? All my games/engines I write check before the frame is done, but only once, so I often get huge delays, even when running the client and server applications on the same machine.

- CHR15x94
My System:
- Windows Vista Home Premium x64
- Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4GHz
- 4GB DDR2 RAM @ 800MHz
- ASUS Radeon HD 3650 512MB GDDR2
