[NGC] Zelda: Twilight Princess slow speed

Good night. My config is a C2D e4400@2.9ghz, Geforce 8500 GT. I'm with version r6953. But the game is running slow. I tried the recommended settings, but the beginning of the game runs at 15fps media. Is there anything that can be done to improve the speed?
