I have opened a thread on this in the XDA Nexus 9 forums, so ill write the same thing here.

Many already knows that the Nexus 9 has physical support for OpenGL 4.5, exactly as the Shield tablet. I dont know why, but for some reason it seems like Google hasn't added any support fort this.

The great developer Sonicadvance1 has opened an issue on this November 22. Please, just give 2 minutes of your time and show your support. Star the issue and add a comment in the issue.

Together i really think we can make a difference, let's show our support!

Glad to help.  Not that Google will bother.  They knew exactly what they were doing.  No need for OpenGl when we have the android extension pack right?  It's definitely not that Google is being anti-competitive.  Google is such a perfect company they always do what is best (sarcasm).

Thank you for showing your support. 16 stars and 14 comment in less than 9 hours. I truly think that Google will be forced to change this. Hopefully they can add the feature in the 5.1 release

Brigading issue trackers accomplishes very little other than annoying people, btw.

Well, i agree, it can be annoying. In this case i think that the only way to even get a response on this issue is to show that I'm not alone wanting google to add support for OpenGL 4.5. As you can see from the comments in the issue, people are willing to share how they feel about google "crippling" the device. I don't mean to be annoying, but i would like, like many others, to have a answer

So are you saying linking this was a bad idea?  It does seem to have attracted quite a bit of comments, but none of them really contribute anything besides adding to discontent.

wow i had no idea what you were even talking about until i looked at all the issues in the tracker
thata really messed up, it looks like an advertisement for black magic in india?(or similar)

is the android issue tracker really the place to advertise black magic? or mariage counseling? or psychic readings?
is there a bot that placing those? they seem to all be coming from like 2 different email accounts

on a different note, is it possible that we can take the 4.5 divers from the shield and place them in the system folder of the nexus 9?
if the nexus 9 really does have the hardware and theyre just either locked out or not installed, then they shouldnt need to be ported, just installed am i right?
