Just recently updated my nexus 9 to 7.0 and now it's crasing all the time. Is anyone having the same problem? It only normally crashes when I load up a game right at the start when it plays it seems fine but still crashes. Any advice would be great.

Blind guess: A driver bug in the Mali GPU driver within any of the ES3.1 feature?

Yeah, we have disabled ES3.1 in those old builds for all mobile GPUs. As there are fixed drivers available, we've dropped this backlisting. It's sad, but nobody wants to check which driver versions are affected...
Edit: Nevermind, HdkR told me that the nexus 9 is Tegra based. This should work fine. May you check which is the oldest broken build of dolphin? 11-03-2016, 07:36 AM
Hi no problem from build 7295 onwards I get a continuous crash like I just tried 7286 and it worked perfectly fine. Thanks for taking your time helping I appreciate it.
What about 7288 and 7290 ? Sorry for nitpicking, but those builds are all ARM related :/

What is the best solution should I just keep checking newer builds and hope it works?

As it seems to be an ARM issue, it should also fail on all other ARM devices. Which game are you trying? Are others fine?

I have tried all kinds but the problem only occurred when I updated the nexus 9 to 7.0 nougat, when it was running 6.0 it was fine so my own fault for updating my device. Do you think this could be fixed with later builds?
