Hello!

Last year I used to play Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen: 4 on Dolphin 7153 over netplay. I took a break for a few months. Since I've returned to playing, I can only get the game to run on Dolphin 4.0.2. All newer versions lag, including 7153. I have a GTX 770, i5 2500k, and 16 GB of Ram. These are the same specs I used beforehand. I've tried changing every setting to no avail. I believe the issue is outside of Dolphin, but I can't pinpoint it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Heart Heart Heart 4.0.2 isn't ideal for netplay.

That's weird! You should not be lagging on those specs in most cases with how efficient Dolphin is on CPU.

Can you go and delete your dolphin.ini located in (documents)/Dolphin Emulator/config

I'm curious if you just have a bad setting. After doing that, run your games. Do not change any settings. Is it still slow? If no, go to the Graphics settings and set your internal resolution how you like it. run your games. Is it slow?

That worked! Thank you so much! I just tested on two newer versions at 1440p resolution and they both ran at 60 FPS.

Cool! Generally if things are slow and you have a decent CPU/GPU, the first thing to look at is config. What I've seen from users is the most common culprit is v-sync causing issues, or they enabled something in Advanced/Hacks that they shouldn't have.
