Okay, get this weirdness:
I went to configure->paths and removed everything, then manually picked out an ISO. This time when the emulation started, the window turned gray, and then Dolphin crashed. When I added the path again, it continues to freeze in Clearing Code Cache. I downloaded a few different builds -- in an earlier post in this thread someone said that there are problems with post v7123 revisions, so I tried v7122, but I have the same problem. Again, v4771 doesn't do this at all. WTF? I dunno. I tried tons of different versions found on this page: http://dolphin-emu.org/download.html I went as far back as I could (the files no longer seem to exist around v5000 or so) and they ALL have the same problem for me. Only my v4771, which is the version linked to on Emulator Zone for some reason, doesn't do this. Okay, I figured out the problem -- the controller I had selected as Controller 1 was no longer plugged in. As soon as I plugged it in, it stopped crashing. What's up with that? Anyone else have this problem?

may want to delete your config files and start a fresh configuration.

I think it actually may be my adapter. It doesn't crash when I have the USB/GCN adapter unplugged, but it crashes when I have the adapter plugged in but the controller isn't. Kind of strange, though. The adapter also has an N64 port on it, and it certainly doesn't cause PJ64 to crash when there's no N64 controller plugged in.
