Having issues with this game so far.

Every now and then, upon loading a new room/ area, I just get a black screen.

Now however, every single time I try to open the pictobox chest my game freezes completely :/

I'm running Dolphin 3.0-763

Just want to be able to play the game through at 30fps lol.

Thanks for any help.

For future reference, it's best to provide your Dolphin settings (if applicable) whenever making a new thread. Click on the Config button and look at the General tab. Click on the Graphics button and look at the General, Hacks, and Enhancements tabs. These are the most relevant settings we need to know in order to help you.

For your black screens. You can try to enable the "fix item hang" patch for WW. Right click the game in Dolphin and go to the Patches tab; you'll see what to enable there. A lot of people report that the "fix item hang" patch doesn't solve these freezes, however, LLE audio seems to do the trick. Since this game is WW, there are two ways to get LLE audio working.

Normally, you have dump two files from your physical console (DSP files), and you'd follow the instructions in this thread. But you can also use a reversed iROM file that mimics the real DSP files, but only for games that use the Zelda microcode (ucode). WW happens to be one such game, so you can use the reversed iROM. It won't work for games that don't use the Zelda ucode (only a few games actually do). It's your choice; the reversed iROM is easier to get, but the real DSP files will work with every game, rather than a limited handful. With either the reversed iROM or real DSP files, place them in your User\Sys\GC folder.

Another thing to note is that LLE audio is very CPU intensive. You shouldn't run into any slowdowns though, not with your CPU, and especially not with Turbo Boost enabled. Lastly, you can boost LLE performance by selecting "LLE on Thread" in your DSP settings.
