New to Dolphin, wiimote controls

Hello,
I have been searching through the forums.
I have found the same types of questions, but no answers.
I installed Dolphin and ran a sonic colors iso

Dolphin recognized my wiiremote when I refreshed it.
I disabled the gamecube controller b/c it kept going to that one in the game.

I start up the game, I can feel the wiimote rumbling etc.
The problem I have is that Dolphin is not recognizing the buttons being pressed.
None of the buttons were recognized.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Do you use a 3rd party wiimote? The best choice are genuine wiimotes from Nintendo, they work 100%.

there is a answer...
dont use 3rd party controllers
and only use approved bluetooth devices

Nope, I am using an official nintendo wii remote. It's that nice black one that came in the box .
Therefore this is not the issue

in dolphin go to:

Config --> Gamecube --> Make sure port 1, 2, 3, 4 are all 'Nothing'

i had this error as well and this (^) fixed it

That's not it either. It was on nothing for all 4 before.
