New to Dolphin - Reading memory?

Hi everyone, first post.

So I've successfully installed Dolphin and whatnot, and games seem to be playing smoothly despite my crappy specs (aw yeah). Now I just need to figure out how to do what I downloaded it for, which is reading memory to see what memory values change when a particular action takes place, etc. Problem is, I can't seem to find how to view anything like this, and the wiki and FAQ don't address this. The "Log" and "Console" windows seem to have promise, but the Log window seems to become pretty much inactive after launching the game, and the Console window only seems to want to print blank space and question marks...I feel like it's there, but I'm missing it.

If someone could point me in the right direction, that would be awesome. Appreciate all your work!

Your best bet is to use something like cheat engine.
