The default settings. If you need more performance, you can try turning down the emulated CPU clock (but not too much), but other than that there shouldn't really be anything you need to adjust.

That happens when the game isn't running at full speed. The only way to get completely proper sound is to run the game at full speed, but if you'd like to have audio that's slow but not choppy, you can enable the audio stretching setting.
