Also, enabling the setting "Disable fog" (I've only seen this option in opengl plugin, not in directx plugin) background textures will appear!!!

That's interesting! You should file an issue on the googlecode issues list, stating that, and your specs. I noticed that this happens on some textures - but only with OpenGL plugin. Is that the case for you too? 11-13-2009, 03:08 PM
I like to play Mario because of Mario is simply a joy to play. It's the plumber in his most pure form, running left to right, growing big and throwing fireballs, jumping huge pits and exploring underground tunnels. Swimming. Floating. Finding hidden areas. Saving Princess Peach for the 10,000th time, and you still have a reason to keep playing.

In this case, the issue happens with directx and opengl. Only enabling "disable fog" setting in opengl, background textures appears (I've an Ati radeon HD4850). I have some screenshots, so you will see the issue: Directx 9: OpenGL: OpenGl + disabled fog: I have reported the issue to googlecode. This is my ticket: http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/iss...il?id=1654 11-13-2009, 08:52 PM
Cool to see it run, but with the loop issue you're basically bound to savestates, do you find them to be very stable? Like how many % of the time do they crash?
