BTW is native FPS 30? (as the screenshot of 60 FPS says 200%)
Explains alot of course.

Sometimes it says 60FPS is 300% And others times its 200% Dodgy So I think its just something wrong there lol.

But There Deffintly is a problem with the wiiremote disconnection Undecided It Seems to happen like every time after about 20-25 minutes of game play. Lately its been happening with lots of wii games Huh

For now, the most annoying thing is the Wiimote getting out of sync after about 4 minutes of play, or when loading a savestate in the NTSC version (PAL crashes when using savestates).

By using quicksave at the world map between every new stage, and restarting Dolphin, you can get pretty far. of course restarting Dolphin takes a few minutes because of the player select wait time.

Here is some videos of NSMB running in r4585:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6spw9S4ZnU&fmt=18 (W-1 Castle)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjwyhr0v3Nk&fmt=18 (W-2)

All are played with the D3D9 and HLE plugins.

Okay, first: you don't mean r2485, you mean r4585, because that's what both of your videos say. I just wanted to make sure that people who didn't go to see the videos saw that.
Second, how did you do that? and could you give me a link to r4585?
It would be nice to tell us some of the settings you used.
And don't give me the link to googe code site, I want the already built program.

Explains alot of course.

I don't see any difference with the speed code. I can achieve full speed without it but it's just really stuttery. I'll get full speed but then I'll get these pauses/hesitations every few seconds. Does any one else get that?

As far as the codes go, do I do just one code with both those lines or sepearate it or does that matter? So I just need to make sure that code is checked AND have the "Enable Cheats" option in the emu settings checked?
I'm the one who created that code originally using Dolphin's debugger mode and posted it on GBATemp.

It basically NOP's out one of the main loops - I don't know what the loop does, but it seemed to be quite important for me.

For me, without the code, I can play the game but there is constant slowdown and stuttering (like you had) and it freezes after 2-3 levels.

With the code on it runs at a pretty decent speed (not 60fps in all levels - but it's stable and playable) and rarely/never freezes. I've already completed the game and obtained all the star coins in World 1 solely with this code. Newer Dolphin builds seem to have fixed the issue, though - I'm running 4582 and I turned the code off and saw little difference.

The only problem I've seen is that completing some levels sometimes causes the emulator itself to crash badly.

It doesn't really matter what release you get, as New Super Mario Bros Wii hasn't been improved visually, but I always get the last release here:
http://cid-ec92aae47a89073b.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/Emulation/Dolphin?view=details

Settings from here:

Except I am using D3D9 plugin because I don't have OpenGL 2.1 support.
