Not for me. I've isolated the revision that broke it as 7328.
And judging by the change log, it caused a number of other problems as well.
Here's the link.

What is your OS and are you using the 32-bit or 64-bit build of Dolphin? I just tested NSMB and it's booting fine for me. Try enabling panic handlers and see if you get any errors, to me this sounds like a bad/incomplete disc dump and something in the later revisions may have affected booting. Have you tried re-dumping the image from the disk to see if that is the problem?

NSMBW is still mostly working for me in 3.0, but I have been getting crashes in some levels lately with the error message: Unknown Pointer at 0xb0001b6a Continue? yes no
If I select yes, I get a black screen and have to force quit. It's not always 0xb0001b6a, in fact it seems to be different every time. I have also gotten 0xfffc208d, 0x9537c844, 0x4ff1a388, 0x5314 badb...etc. Some levels crash randomly and not every time I play them, but level 4-3 crashes every time I complete the level or die in the level. I have played through the game (same NTSC-U ISO dump) several times with earlier revisions and never had any problems. I tried redumping with the same result. If I use WiiScrubber to replace the level with another, the problem goes away. So does this mean that my disc is bad? It still plays fine in the Wii. What are these Unknown Pointers? |
