Hello, just a quick question, I've seen the forums and a few posts about the S5 Neo but I seem to have different numbers - that STILL don't allow me to install any APK I can find. I've tried the latest ones and a few in the 8500 range. While testing various APK versions I first uninstalled the Google Play version and restarted the phone.

Specs listed from Google Play version, before uninstalling;

Android Version - 5.1.1
Supports OpenGL ES 3 - Yes
CPU type - ARM Cortex A53
CPU Info - AArch64 Processor rev 3
8 cores
OpenGL version - ES 3.1

Can someone help me with what I'm missing to run an APK of these newer versions? Is there a specific build number I should be trying?
Thanks VERY much in advance, and I wish I could help out with this amazing project - I'd so dearly love to play Hulk: Ultimate Destruction at full speed one day!

Hey there!
That was FAST!
I do indeed have unknown sources activated... but I still get the message "Application not installed" just as if I'm still only 32 bit somehow.
Aren't the posted numbers meeting the minimum system requirements?

Most likely it is running a 32bit android build even though the cores are 64bit in hardware.  Best thing to do would be to check that.

Not sure then, the specs meet the requirements. do you have enough storage space?

Run getprop in terminal emulator and if it mentions ro.product.cpu.abilist64 with something in the brackets you're 64bit android I'm not certain though

Hey again.
I have TONS of storage space left on both the phone and card... 6.5 GB on the phone itself, and 35GB on the card.
I have looked around the net a bit, I cannot find a clear answer about whether or not Android 5.1.1 is a 64 bit build... it would seem though that that could be the only possibility, as it does seem this phone meets all the minimums otherwise.
The only two other details I can add to my listed specs are;

Chipset - Exynos 7580 Octa
GPU - Mali-T720MP2

Any other info would be appreciated. Unless I am trying the wrong new builds of Dolphin?

dataplays45, I think you found it.
When I run getprop in terminal emulator I get two things of note as you mentioned;

[ro.product.cpu.abilist32]: [armeabi-v7a, aremeabi], and
[ro.product.cpu.abilist64]: []

So, close but no cigar with this phone. I read elsewhere on the forums that if it's not Armv8 it simply won't run. I'm Arm7a.
Next time, next phone I guess. Thanks to you guys for all your help. I still learned something Wink

...and just to be 100% clear, there is nothing to be done about that, not even rooting my phone, I gather.
This is all so familiar. The last time I was on a forum at ALL was for FPSE on Android, waiting for it to run more games, more smoothly... and, well, look at how that turned out!
Keep it up, all who are involved in development! Pretty please! Only two years until my next phone, and frankly I'll be buying one with this specific emulator in mind.
Thanks again.
