Didn't want to put this in the Wind Waker thread because I am not 100% convinced it is the game. I have an issue with the resolution of objects that are not right in the focal point of the character (distant objects). This only happens in Wind Waker and only in the newer revisions I have tried. I honestly shrugged this off when I tried it, but now after trying 583, I get the same result. If I use a revision older than 421 (granted I have not tried them all, but about 5 different builds inclusive) the background is VERY pixelated. This is the same ISO with the same settings. I am using 4x IR and 1920 x 1080. Check out the images and settings. I would like to use newer revisions, but this is preventing me from doing so. Thoughts...?

Have you tried turning off XFB (External Frame Buffer)? Or EFB to RAM?

Don't suggest crap, there's no option for disabling the full render output ...
EDIT: nevermind, that was dumb from my side... been kinda late when I wrote that post :p

Thanks for all of your input. I am not using AA, as the screenshots should have confirmed that. Also, can you even successfully play Wind Waker without XMB...? The wiki and threads I have read indicate that Virtual is the way to go. From what little testing I have done, upping the IR yields better results that AA. I am assuming 4x AA still has issues as I have not read anywhere that it was fixed. That may be old news, but my hardware cannot easily handle 9x AA at high resolutions.

Any other thoughts?

Try enabling EFB copy cache (needs EFB to RAM as well) and/or EFB scaled copies.

Awesome. Thanks neobrain! Will try when I am back home.

*Update:
EFB to RAM and Enable Cache did resolve the issue. Thanks neobrain!
