New Pausing Feature When Pressing Esc Doesnt Work

Am I the only one? In newest builds the ve changed it so that when you press esc in game it will pause.
But Instead I am getting a black screen whenever I press esc.
They should put it back the way it was in my opinion.

it works for me but i too want it back the way it was, pausing the emulator sometimes crashes it. and my instinct tells me to alt+enter in fullscreen to exit, before pressing esc in fullscreen was like dooming your display drivers.
