I don't know if my laptop's stats are included with my posts, (First post)
But here they are.

My Dolphin version is the newest current build available for download, and I'll be using DirectX9 unless the newer versions run better.
Windows 8x64
Intel-i7 3630QM 2.4ghz 6mb-l3cache
Nvidia GeForce 650M 2GB
8GB DDR3
Would I possibly be able to play GC classics like Skies of Arcadia, Tales of Symphonia, and Fire Emblem in 1080 without too much slowdown? Also, are there any special tricks and tips to help with running those games specifically? I've been studying the general performance guides, but I've never emulated and I'm not exactly the most tech literate. Thanks in advance!

Normally I'd shoot for DDR5 and the 750m, but I got the notebook on a really good store sale and I didn't have a lot of spending room for a high-specced machine.

You only have to wait a single GT 750M version (which is much cheaper than 2x750M in SLI)

No slowdown at all if you can max out your laptop performance
Check this thread , it should help you

Minor correction. DDR5 won't exist for another decade.

Thanks! And i'll look into the store options as well. it's an HP laptop that has Beats Audio installed, so I dunno if that's LLE or not, or even if that has anything to do with it. And thanks for the correction Violence, my bad.

Beats audio is mainstream (I mean it's quite popular nowadays) , nothing special
Beats headphone are also overpriced piece of ...

Most Audio enthusiast don't like it
I would take Dolby Home Theater V4 instead of Beats

NO, LLE is dumped from console - Wii

HLE and LLE audio are options within Dolphin for audio emulation, which is all done on the CPU before being tossed at the audio hardware to be played back on the actual speakers. HLE should be fine for the games you've listed if you're using a current development build. http://dolphin-emu.org/download/

For the games you listed you should be ok as long as you stick to HLE audio, which was recently VERY MUCH improved and now rivals LLE in audio quality with a lot lighter computation requirement. But LLE is probably too heavy for your cpu and you will not be able to run full speed which means audio will stutter.

The revamped HLE is present in 3.5-78 (?) or later for GC games and 3.5-1144 (?) or later for Wii games.
