I can test a few games for you with my 5570. I would recommend trying to get your cpu up to 3ghz.

Quote:Would a 5670 be totally acceptable with my inferior 235e CPU? It depends on your settings. A 5670 is totally sufficient for 720p without aa. In fact even 1080p should be fine. However most games are going to run poorly with that cpu regardless of how good your gpu is.

OK, seeing as this card is more then three years old and is comparable with a 8800 GT I wouldn't waste 20-30 dollars to repair something like that, nothing that old computer component wise is worth fixing. If my card started to have noisy fans then it would be replaced immediately. It's not a bad advice NaturalViolence, we just all think and act different in these situations.
What would be the recommended (Dual-Core) AM3 CPU then? I had my 235e overclocked to 3 GHz when I tested the 5550. Would the 5550 be sufficient if the CPU was better?
I don't want to play Shooters or anything (that's what I have my PC for) but more the classic casual/party games. They should require less power, don't they? 05-13-2011, 07:28 PM

I have a TV card by usb (lv5t) before the SP i have to install dirvers by cd. Now only plug it and windows automatically download and install the driver (on windows 7 64) I suggest that you try the 64 bits with the sp1

I have an Antec Fusion Remote case, I'm not sure about the PSU, but I think it is a 500 Watts one. It had one of those 80+ efficiency ratings (gold or silver).
I have two analog WinFast2K cards, where you can only get 32 bit drivers for. I can only get analog cable in my area. |
