How much did the PC that you wanted to buy cost?

i7 3770K(Ivy) @ 4.5GHz is as fast as i7 2600K(Sandy) @ 4.8GHz

Anything over Nvidia 9600GT or AMD 5670 is overkill for 1080p
With Nvidia GTX 690 , you can go with 4K resolution (4x1080p)

So on every PC shop im building there are two problems
they dont have the parts i search.
or i get a too expensive result.
i7-2600 or i7-3550
a GTX 680
16 or 32 Gb RAM
and a SSD 128 or 256 GB

i end up with a result of about 2100€+
the 2 PC i listed up at the beginning where
The i7-3770k GTX690 one was 2000€
The AMD Bulldozer 8 core with the 2x HD7970 was 2300€
My Computer:
-Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550@ 4x2,833GHz
-8 GB DDR2 -1066MHz
-1TB Harddrive
-Geforce GTX 295 mit 1792 MB GDDR3 Speicher

Both of them are too expensive.
You live in the UK, then?

Can you build your own PC?

I got a GTX295 and she's a way stronger than the 9600 GT but i cant run games on 1080 without slow downs.
I cant even play games like Mario galaxy or zelda in normal speed when im playing on lower resolutions.
Many Games are running fine but the big ones doesnt want too

You can blame that on your processor, not your GPU.
You need a faster processor, short and simple.
If you want to upgrade GPUs, get a 670, not a 690.

(Not the right amazon site?)

No i live in Germany.
yes i know i had this limit of max 1750€ but than i thought okay this 200 more i can spent on it i mean its for the next 5 or more years.
Dolphin is just supporting Dual-Core or?
So my 2,833 are really a bit low to play some games

You don't really need a 690.
What you do need is an overclocked I5 3570k.

Do you know how to build your own PC?

A bit of both, really.

CPU bottleneck . Even if you upgrade to Nvidia GTX 690 right now , you will have the same result
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 @ 2.8GHz is slow , you have to overclock it

it wouldnt be just the GTX690 i would upgrade the processor from 4x 2,833 into a i7 4 x 4,5
RAM from 8 to 32 GB and from normal harddrive into a SSD so the slowing issues should be gone.
But if there are some better ways to spent the money like buying a 680 and spent the rest into a six core or a better SSD i thankful if u can share them with me Smile
