I`m trying to run the Dolphin at playable speed since this morning, but with less success.
My sytem:
amd 5000+ 2x 2,4 Ghz
2Gb Ram
9600Gt
Vista Home Preimum 32 Bit.

I`ve downloaded the newest bulid (r4771) and tried to run the Pokemon colluseum Iso with it (saw that game with aceptable fps on youtube).
After i swiched some settings, the Iso gets up to 18-20 fps (in battle) and up to 25-30fps if the character is on the map.
Can somebody here help me to raise the emulation speed to an acceotable level?

greetings Peeter

there's already a thread for this game http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/thread-3656.html
maybe you'll find an answer there, but i don't think it needs any special setting other than the ones we all use for all games; Dual core enabled, optimize quantizers, copy efb to texture etc.. and try d3d plugin.
My Specs: AMD Phenom II x4 940 3.0ghz - w7/Ubuntu 11.04

sorry apostacious,
I ask you because you are very complete guide Big Grin !

What changes if I use the option to copy EFB Gl texture instead of system RAM ...??

harm for my pc or dolphin?

Many games run very slow if I use "copy to system RAM but if you use GL texture to run with good speed! whi??

No, it doesn't harm your pc in any way. its just a different approach to doing the same thing, hence the tittle "hack" you should always use that option unless efb to ram is needed to fix a problem or crash temporary in some games; i.e. some new super mario bros wii lvl.

and i don't know why it speeds it up, just use it and don't ask Big Grin
My Specs: AMD Phenom II x4 940 3.0ghz - w7/Ubuntu 11.04

IF i`m copying to ram the game gets several errors. I´ve also seen the guy on youtube used the Super mario Galaxy hack, which i can`t find in the advanced grafic options.

Because you don't need it anymore, it works fine without that hack now!

Oh, thx for the Info.
I was able to raise the speed up to 40-50 fpx now, which makes the game playable. the problem now is that the sound is still laaging behind. Is there a solution to raise the sound speed like in the PCSX2?
