Has anyone tested a Xeon CPU? They have considerably more L3 cache than your standard PC CPU. I'm curious how they'd benchmark compared to other CPUs of the same gen.

This now crashes immediately every time I try to benchmark. Only thing I've changed is upgrading to beta drivers and based on the "Fault module name" is it safe to say that's likely the culprit here? Thanks.

CPU: i5-4670k @4.0 GHz OC (yes, I know it's a lame OC, I just haven't been bothered to try harder =P)
OS: Win7 SP1 x64 Time: 7 minutes, 38 seconds Screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/oQwjDlA.png Edit: Should I do a benchmark at stock speed as well? Because OCs can vary, and not everyone is willing to OC. 02-19-2014, 06:10 AM
Hello,
I tried to run the bench but Dolphin crashes.... What can I give to report ? I know that it will never make a Wii game work... (over heat then secure shutdown occurs )CPU: i5-M480 @2.67Ghz (laptop) OS: Win7 SP1 x64 home 4Gb ram, Nvidia GeForce GT330M... 02-22-2014, 01:04 PM
Hi,
i just changed my GPU from a AMD R9 280x to an old GTX 285 because i had to RMA the 280x and now when i open "povray.elf" dolphin crashes with no error message. In the exceptioninfo.txt i get: Unhandled Exception Code: 0xC0000005 Call stack info: 0x00000000 : ? 0x5D50BD9B : ? Drivers installed are the latest. When i change the Renderer to Direct3D, dolphin won't crash but the window stays black(The window title shows 0 FPS and VPS at 60-64). The weird thing is, i tried several games and none of them crashed/gave me a black window(tried Zelda WW, Super Mario Sunshine, Soul Calibur 2, Mario Kart Wii) Specs: AMD Phenom II X4 955 3,2Ghz GTX 285 8gb ddr2 |
