I'll not bother benching my 4670K as it already seems well covered. Looks like AMD is still a long way behind Haswell.

For the performance per megahertz spreadsheet the numbers are inversly correlated with IPC which is a bit confusing. So why not do (number of instructions in benchmark/seconds)/(clock rate). This would give you the exact IPC, which is what you're looking for. And why is it sorted by time instead of by time*clock rate?

I finally manged to get a clean benchmark on my Core 2 Duo after some issues with graphics drivers BSODing.
Probably time for an upgrade.

I'll gladly take your PC then. Tongue

In other news, lolwut the chart has OC'd results again? O_o I am so confused...

The results have never been removed, they're just filtered out in the default view. For some reason the filter went away, I put it back.

Along with IPC, another measurement that could be interesting is IPW - instructions per watt (a TDP watt that is *). Such a thing could be particularly useful for HTPCs, and would also fit right in with the "stock only" requirement.

* I am aware that TDP does not actually equal power consumption but rather heat output, hence why it's called "Thermal Design Power" (I'm also aware that heat output also does not equal temperature).

I did this while still using the PC for other things (mainly browsing the web)

May run a second test while doing nothing to see if changes.

My CPU has been extensively tested as stable, passed ~24+Hours of Prime and AIDA64's stability tested for ~3-5 hours without issue (I didn't do it much longer because it stresses the FPU a lot more and we all know Nehalem is very hot and power hungry. The temps get 10-15c Higher than in Prime and no where near any where real world temps.)

Haven't had a single crash with this OC yet that ended up being the OC at fault.

But it wouldn't mind doing a Stock test either I guess.

If anyone cares, the Intel 965 AKA X3100 iGP doesn't have the feature set requirements to run this benchmark.

At least with the official GPU drivers...

The bench doesn´t even work with that IGP under 4.0? I tested 4.0 on the GMA 950 and most games worked.
