I would conclude that the VPS readings are inaccurate with the vbeam hack but I could be wrong. The CPU thread load should go down with the hack off. This is all very confusing since we don't have a deep understanding of the logic flow. I'm betting that the logic that determines VPS was never properly modified for the vbeam hack though. It could be the other way around but it's less likely.
