Really? I knew it was a negligible difference, but on the only 2 processor benchmarks I've seen (one was BF3, so is likely to be the 1%) there was a boost (of about 0.25 - 0.75 FPS). I didn't see it go down. However as I said, it was for games likely to be the 1%. Anyway, my findings still prove that it's a total waste of money.
