Could you upload an audio dump of this The Last Story issue?
delroth, awesome work!
All audio corruption issues of Just Dance games and their spin offs were fixed, tested with Abba You Can Dance, Just Dance 1, 3 and 4 and Michael Jackson The Experience, no audio glitches, HLE is as accurate as LLE in these games. I only need now a build with wii-network and new-ax-hle changes together, to fix the random freezing of JD3 and JD4... EDIT: Tested games that use Wiimote Speaker, they still have crackling (even when running at fullspeed) but the audio that come from the speakers are much more clear now, tested with Super Smash Bros Brawl and with the Ghosts minigame from Wii Play: Motion. The only weird thing is that the ghosts screams continue playing for some time, even after I stop the emulation...

If you want to complain about LTTC being removed, 1. you're 3 months too late; 2. do it elsewhere. Here's my first real report; Star Fox Assault and Star Fox Adventures....all I can say is "wow". How on earth did you do it? Edit: Games that have perfect audio (will update as I test more) NTSC-U Super Smash Bros Melee Soul Calibur 2 Tales of Symphonia Super Smash Bros Brawl

@rpglord: just tried TLS with the latest new-ax-hle build - no issue at all. I'm thinking what you think are glitches are due to your FPS being unstable. Listen to the audio dump generated by Dolphin - if the issue is not present in it then it's not an issue.

Sure issue starts at 0:32 https://soundcloud.com/rpglord/last-stor...-hle-issue Also, it seems to me some music tracks in Tales Of Symphonia sounded better in 3.0-842 then they sound now. It could be just me, I will upload audio dumps of this too. It just seem some notes are not clearly audible now, and they were in 3.0-842, for example iselia music ( first town in the game ) Atleast these notes sound too low on volume when comparing to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6kyOUkJ0A0 Game sounds exactly as on youtube only in 3.0-842 (04-01-2013, 02:07 AM)delroth Wrote: @rpglord: just tried TLS with the latest new-ax-hle build - no issue at all. Its a minor issue, maybe you just didn't notice it ? I just uploaded the audio dump, can you notice it there ? 04-01-2013, 02:15 AM
Right, it's definitely there in your audio dump. I'll test this more and try to fix this issue.

I only get this issue when "DSP on Thread" is checked. Can you make sure it's unchecked in your DSP configuration window?

Should I upload audiodumps ? Is this supposed to be only WII thread ? It's been a long time since GC AX WII was merged to master, and I am sure TOS was tested a lot, maybe this is not an issue ? I would just like some clarification in that case, if posible, why only 3.0-842 from new ax hle brench sounds properly, same as OST on youtube, while latest master or this new branch doesn't ??? |
