Yesterday I set up my new 'Wireless Sensor Dolphinbar' on Ubuntu and Windows on my desktop, and I am wondering if I also setup the same one, or buy another Dolphinbar, for my Nvidia Shield in another room, is there anyway I can shared saved games across devices?

I am not sure how saved games are stored exactly, but I launched a New Super Mario Bros. wfbs I had backed up from when I used to play it on my Wii, and it had a saved game stored, so I am guessing saves are stored in the wfbs file? If so, I was thinking perhaps I could load my wfbs files to my NAS, and launch them from dolphin on each device, desktop and Nvidia Shield, and then share saved games across both?

WBFS files don't contain save data. On Windows, the save data is in the Dolphin Emulator folder in Documents. I don't recall exactly where it is on Ubuntu, but if you find it, the save files can be copied between your computers.

Thanks for the input.

Since posting I found this: Controlling the Global User Directory

It covers how to change the global user directory for Linux, Windows, and Mac OS, so I could potentially point Dolphin running on Linux and Windows at the same place, using the same saves, but there is no mention of how to do this on Android also, which is the second device.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

You could copy the whole nand folder to a networked drive that all of your devices have access to. No idea how you do it on linux, but on windows you could make it use a drive letter for a folder on the network, so like e: is \\192.168.100.101\DophinNAND. In Dolphin's settings you can change the path to the nand. Do not ask me how to set this up, i don't know, but it should be doable.

Accessing the whole user folder on all machines is a bad idea, since they all want different settings for graphics and controls. The NAND is the whole (nand-)storage of the emulated wii, and it contains all wii (not gamecube!)saves, installed channels and the settings of the emulated wii, so that's safe to share on different machines.
