Netplay super laggy and Audio delayed

OK so me and my friends are trying to play Super Smash on Netplay, were also going to be playing many other games so but the games are extremely delayed and laggy and were unsure why.

Not sure on what settings we need to change so if anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear.

I'll list our specs to give you guys a hint about our PCs

My knee-jerk reaction is that your friends' AMD 6350 is the problem because it's slow and not great for playing Dolphin on. But recently Dolphin has been more optimized on the CPU side. Have them do a test outside of netplay where they run a 4 player match and see if they still get slowdowns. If they do, then they need to overclock those CPUs until it goes away.

They can also try using D3D12, as it is slightly more CPU efficient. Slightly.

However, it's more likely that one of you has shitty internet. Whats the ping from everybody before you start a game?

A 3 or 4 player netplay session has 2 times the latency that a 2 player session has. The clients communicate each other via the server, instead of communicating directly. It's always client -> server -> client isntead of client -> client.
