Hi, I've been playing melee netplay on dolphin for a while now, but I've never had the need to save. I wan't to play a co-op game with my friend online. Is there any way to save for both of us so that we can continue from where we ended via save states/ memory cards? I don't know at all how the save/memory card features work, so any help is appreciated greatly.

Thanks

Even if the 2 players have exactly the same memory card data?

Sorry, I was thinking about Wii games and forgot about GameCube. If it's a GameCube game and you sync up the memory cards manually and memory cards are enabled, it shouldn't desync.

How does one do that?

I believe you both need to have the same memory cards.

Couldn't this work for Wii if you synced the entire NAND, or is there more to it?

Copy the memory card from one computer to the other.

No, Dolphin disables access to the NAND directory when using netplay.
