Hello, I'm having an issue with a specific friend joining my Netplay session for Mario Party 5. I had Sync Saves, Sync Gecko/AR Codes, Write Save Data, and Strict Settings Sync used for playing. I invited my three friends and only two were able to download my memory card to have proper sync. The friend who had issues downloading would disconnect on my end, but still have the dialog open on his end as if he were still in my party.
He has tried a full reinstall of the current beta available (5.0-14790), checked that his ISO wasn't corrupted, and his memory card was working properly. I even gave him my memory card to no avail. The other two friends reported zero issues with Netplay, and my Google-fu has failed me so far. For settings on my end, my port was forwarded A-Okay, and everyone's connections were stable throughout the game. No hiccups occurred in any capacity with memory cards, and I was able to host a second game with no issues since I wanted to pinpoint the issue.
Has anyone had this issue in the past? Or does any solution come to mind?
