Hey all,
Looking for a little guidance here. My goal is to have a machine on my LAN host a Netplay session which will allow external parties along with other clients on my LAN to join.
I am able to have 2 machines from my LAN join an external host.
Even if there is no built-in method to get this done, I'd like to understand how connections to the traversal server work better so I can try some networking workarounds.
Is the limitation that the host and client are on the same Public IP? is it a routing/port issue?
I did try connecting the 2nd machine on my LAN to a off-site VPN and routing net traffic through a proxy there, but this did not work.
Any help with this would be most appreciated.
Thanks!
