Hello Everyone Smile,

I know Dolphin currently supports p2p netplay, through ip host/connect services through the emulator itself. But could anyone, if possible...please tell me if a server with chat/join room functionality such as kaillera are being worked on at the moment?

Creating Dolphin is revolutionary, yet, if this were to have online play via server/chat/join functionality like GGPO and Kaillera, I would explode with magical success Smile.

Is working on internet server compatibility difficult? I'd love to know some insight Smile.

Thanks Smile

No such thing exists currently,
mainly because no one is interested in making it.

Why make a GGPO/Kaillera-style client for Netplay when it dosen't even work properly in the first place?

It works fine, but only with "Dual Core" mode disabled.

By working properly,i meant when Dual Core is on.Otherwise it's pretty much impossible to get 100% speed. Also, there's all these random desyncs.

Precisely.

Having Netplay via single core conveys "Progress", and i'm IMPRESSED at the least Smile. However, we must have it in the future, where Dual-Core netplay is possible (mastering 3rd and 4th threading for gameplay as well is a major plus), as it is definitely possible.

I've talked to a few IBM developers about Dolphin (good ol' nerdy brotherin' of mine) Wink , and they're impressed beyond belief at Dolphin's progress, yet, also confirmed that quad core processing is definitely possible, but very difficult, treated almost as a final thought for project continuity, due to its' level of complexity.

Please, I certainly hope in the future, that someone creates this Client/Server dual-core, hosting/joining leap of gaming emulation. Honestly, Wii games are incredible, but showcase seldom boredom overtime, as I've no client to join after a hard days work from my job Smile.

In the meantime, I shall enjoy my Imported ripped Xenoblade, Chronicles (Patched to 30fps), thanks to everyone in here Smile!!!!!!!
