Alright so me and a friend are looking to play a few GC games over Netplay but we've run into a very specific issue...

The games we play quickly desync. What I mean by this is that (for example) we'll be playing SSBM and we'll be all good and fine until the games starts and then everything goes to crap. He'll see me jumping and moving like I'm doing on my screen, but it will be in a completely different area, as well as him seeing items spawn that don't even exist on my screen.

We've attempted following this guide Dolphin 3.0 Netplay Guide as well as attempt different settings on our own, and while we do see dramatic performance changes with the different settings, going from unplayable (sub 30 fps) to perfect FPS we continue to have the desyncing issue no matter what we try.

As of now we've tried the following on Dolphin V3.0 715-Dirty:

Enable Dual Core (Off & On)
Enable Idle Skipping (Off & On)

DSP HLE with DSP LLE on Thread (DSound)
DSP HLE without DPS LLE on Thread(DSound)
DSP LLE with DSP LLE on Thread (DSound)
DPS LL without DPS LLE on Thread (DSound)

Port 1 and 2 on Standard Controller
Slot A <nothing>
Slot A <Memory Card>

Port 2626 is Open
Netplay Buffers between 1~25 (only made performance issues, no visible desyncs)
Netplays recommended buffer between the two of us is 0.78 (we live in the same city)

I'm currently running on:
i5 2500K @ 4.5 GHZ
GTX560 Ti
8 Gigs of DDR3 RAM
75 Down / 10 Up

Does anybody have any idea's on how to correct this? I see video's of people playing SSBM using Dolphin over netplay all the time and there doesn't seem to be a issue for them, so it must be a setting on my end.

If you require any additional information please let me know, I'll be babysitting this post Smile

Thank you!

I'm not sure if a newer revision or 3.0 would be more stable Undecided you may want to try 3.0, after all that guide was written for it XD

changing to 3.0 worked, no more desyncs.

Thank you very much for your help... should have thought of something that simple on my own! Smile
