Netplay Failed to Connect

Hi guys,

I'm trying to play Super Smash Bros Brawl Project M with a friend on Netplay. We've played several times with no problems whatsoever but for some reason now when I try to connect to him using his IP and port, an error message pops up saying "failed to connect". We've double checked IP settings and the port number and have both tried to host to no avail, anyone have any thoughts?

Internal IP likely changed, meaning the port he forwarded on his router no longer goes to him.
