Hello guys! I have been playing Dragon Ball Z: BT3 on Dolphin for a couple of weeks now and it has been working flawlessly. However, I have hit a real snag with Netplay. I recently just set up my router for port forwarding (which was a real pain) and I finally got it setup. I followed this guide because it was the only guide that told me which port I should forward to: http://www.willvolution.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=187885#187885

Now once I got port 2626 forwarded, I went into Dolphin and started Netplay, used port 2626, clicked Host, and I got this message: "Warning Failed to Listen!!"
But when I host using any non-forwarded port, it let's me into the host room. But this room doesn't work because it's not port forwarded... Does the game determine which port should be forwarded? Or does 2626 work for Netplay in general? I am really confused.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Here are pics of my computer specs and my Dolphin settings:

Ok, I first I tried the most recent development version and that did not work. So I did 3.5 next and I still got the same error message. I have also checked my ports and port 2626 is definitely open. Any other suggestions?

I am having a similar problem as well. Does anyone know a fix for this? It's kinda strange that our ports are open but Dolphin won't let us use them...

Alright, I restarted my router again and I opened port 2627 for my internal IP and I opened port 2628 for my router IP. I am using development version 3.5-1576. I don't know why, but it works! I was able to host a game both the internal IP ports without getting the error. I will try to play with my friend later tonight and see how it goes. Hopefully we'll at last be able to connect!

Which protocol did you use when forwarding the port?

I used Both. Am I supposed to use just TCP?

Failing to listen simply means that the port is already being used by something. I usually get failing to listen errors when I close a netplay session and start another one immediately. You might want to make sure nothing else is running that could be filling the used ports, or that a firewall isn't eating the requests and causing Dolphin to think it's filled.
