Hey guys !

I want to play Melee with a friend. So,we both followed these tutorials : https://www.smashladder.com/guides/view/26pw/melee-netplay-guide , https://www.smashladder.com/guides/view/26c7/netplay-guide-dolphin-5-0-321-and-faster-melee ,but when comes the time to connect to the host,we just receive a "Impossible connection !".Here's a screenshot (it's in french) : https://gyazo.com/737e03869953f755e7233709d2c27764 (we both tried to host the game, but there is the same problem)

A few days before,I wanted to play Mario Party 6 with few friends. But this time it was a little bit different : I was using Dolphin 5.0 (the same my friends were using) and, when I clicked on "Connect",nothing happenned. No message,no connection to my friends, nothing.

Could you guys help me out ? Smile I dont think the problem comes from portforwarding, since I read somewhere that portforwarding wasnt needed to play with Transversal Server.

(Sorry if I did language mistakes,as mentionned before,I'm French :/)

Some ISPs don't like transversal. Can you try portforwarding?

What ports do we need to open exactly ?
Does my friend need to do this too ?

Only the host needs to do it and you can use any port you want.

Edit: looks like default is 2626

Set the start and end ports to 2626 and enter your computer's local network IP.

To get the local network ip type ipconfig in command prompt and look for ipv4 (192.168.x.x)
I also use this when I'm lazy https://github.com/kaklakariada/portmapper
