I am having trouble getting two computers on the same network to netplay over a direct connection using wifi without tanking the host's other program's connections. For example, after the two computers start a netplay session and the game begins, the host PC's Discord server ping skyrockets from 35 ms to 5000 ms and browser searches spin for about 30 seconds before loading results. The programs stay in this laggy state until the game is closed and then the programs immediately go back to having no connection issues. This is happening on a Ryzen 5600X PC running Windows 11. I tried running another program that uses a direct connection and port forwarding (Clone Hero) with the same 2 PCs on the same network with the Ryzen PC hosting, and there was no lag on the other apps (Discord, Chrome, etc). Strangely, if the other PC hosts (Intel i7-13700K and Windows 11 also wifi), there are no issues with latency. This only seems to happen when the Ryzen system hosts, and it happens every time. The wireless signals are both strong, and the PCs are near each other in the same room (ethernet is not an option for me at the moment). The Ryzen PC also has no issues when connecting with someone on a different network. I have updated the Ryzen PC's wireless and chipset drivers, and Windows is up to date. The firewall is set properly, and I am running the latest beta branch of Dolphin (5.0-18498). I reinstalled Dolphin and Discord, but still have the problem. I think it has something to do with the AMD platform and how Windows handles scheduling on the CPU, but I'm not sure. Any advice is appreciated!
