Netplay blackscreen with certain games

Recently, my friends and I have been itching to play some GameCube games online. Most of the time, it has worked great but with some of the games (typically EA Sports games) have been giving us a black screen issue.

Games that have worked for us include:

• Mario Kart: Double Dash (2-4 players)
• Mario Superstar Baseball (2 players)
• 007 Nightfire (after some configurations we were finally able to play 4 players)
• Super Smash Bros. Melee (4 players)
  

All of these had no problems with lag (after we changed some settings).

Some of the games gave us black screens whenever loading them up:

• NHL 2004 (2 players)
• FIFA Street 2 (2 players)
• NBA Live 06 (3 players)
  

This problem seems to only be with EA Sports games. 007 Nightfire would black screen after the first load screen, but these games don't even bring up the black screen. 007 Nightfire was fixed by getting an 100% save game and distributing it to all players. All of these games work in non-netplay mode.

Things we have tried to get it working:

• Made sure that all game ids between all players were the same.
• Made sure that all memory cards were synced (Including other games).
• Tried with memory cards disabled on each players end.
• Tried both traversal server and direct connect.
• Tried using different hosts/player combinations.
• Made sure the pad buffer was corresponding with our ping (Every players ping was around 15-25)
• Made sure that everybody was using the same version of Dolphin (5.0)
  

Any ideas on how to fix this? I can give any information if needed.

The only idea I might have is that all of these games have a montage intro video at the start that might be affecting them.

Some games won't work with netplay unless you uncheck the Enable Dual Core in the main Dolphin config (you can keep Enable Dual Core on within the gameconfig menu though).
