Hello forum readers,

I need some help with compiling Dolphin.

Some errors I found:

error MSB3073: The command "cscript /nologo /E:JScript "make_scmrev.h.js"
13>Version.cpp(5): fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'scmrev.h': No such file or directory
24>LINK : fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'C:\Users\Jonne\Downloads\dolphin-WiiU\dolphin-WiiU\Build\Win32\Debug\Common\bin\Common.lib'

Also when I looked in the log, I found the program searching for git and the cscript has to do with Intel C++ Composer if I am not mistaken. Would be a good idea to install those. Smile
After finding out that more programs are needed for correctly compiling Dolphin I used the following tutorial to be sure not to forget anything: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-how-to-compile-dolphin-with-intel-c-composer-xe-on-windows?highlight=compile+dolphin

Now the thing is: mysysgit won't install correctly on my system. After install it may open once, then it gives me a system error saying libiconv-2.dll is missing. Copying this file from another directory does make git.exe start but then abruptly close, in other words still not working correctly. The log says: Cannot find git or git.cmd: Check your PATH: ... Now the path C:\mysysgit, the default install path, is not summed up in the huge list of paths. Should I just install it into one of the known directories?
Plus Intel C++ Composer would not install integration in Visual Studio for some reason. The version I have is Intel C++ Composer XE.

Running Microsoft Visual Studio Ultimate 2013. Operating system is Windows 8.1, more info about my pc specs are in my profile.
I did read somewhere that there is a bug in Visual Studio 2013 for Windows 8 that does not allow us to compile Dolphin in Visual Studio 2013. So it might just be the operating system causing trouble when building the solution or perhaps when installing mysysgit or Intel C++ Composer.

Hope someone knows how to solve all this, thanks in advance.
