Will the Ishiiruka build work on a MacBook Pro computer because that is what I have.
Need more help because I'm stupid. <_<>_>

Well never mind then since I have a Mac and it seems to be the only way I can get the games to run is on a Mac since I tried on a Windows and it didn't work.

You have 2 options: Either going for performance over glitches or poor performance without glitches, it is up you to decide. You can try going down to 3.5 and see if its faster but keep in mind we would not be able to help you with these builds as we no longer support them. If I lowered these settings, the game would glitch up but would it crash at the prologue screen? 07-05-2015, 07:41 PM
That is my main concern. Being able to play the game without crashing. So just to make sure I understand, if I lower these settings, I would be able to play the game but with minor glitches? (The ones detailed on the Wiki)
The thing is, at this point nobody seems to know why you are crashing/freezing so nobody knows if changing anything is going to fix it. All anyone can do is merely offer suggestions. It's up to you to hopefully find the answer based on those suggestions. Let's look at everything so far...
Verify disc is a good dump..... check. Tried playing without dual core..... check. Tested with multiple revisions..... check. Lowering settings suggested to you.... in progress? --- Internal Resolution (lower is better) --- Anti-Aliasing (lower is definitely better) --- Scaled EFB Copy (unchecked is faster) --- Skip EFB Access from CPU (checked is usually faster) --- Store EFB Copies to Texture Only (checked is faster but causes glitches) --- Texture Cache Accuracy (my guess Fast is probably the fastest) --- External Frame Buffer (disabled is faster) --- Fast Depth Calculation (checked is faster) --- Disable Bounding Box (checked is much faster but causes glitches) You probably shouldn't change all of it at once, but go through each setting one by one and see if the crashes/freezes stop. You are using an apple computer, maybe the problem is specific to that and you found a currently unknown bug? You said "I tried on a Windows and it didn't work". I can only assume you tried a different PC/laptop altogether. What windows? What computer? What specs? Having BootCamp installed on the Mac would allow you test windows versions using the Mac, but I'm afraid it can be a somewhat complex process to do this based on my own experiences. Hunting down all the drivers I needed drove me nuts because BootCamp wasn't "officially" supported on the Mac I put it on (but, in the end it did work perfectly). If you decided to try that, it would be really helpful if you knew someone who was computer savvy who could help you with it, or better yet, do it for you. If all else fails, if you are only freezing at the prologue screen, I have a huge collection of save files for this game for basically every single point in the story. Maybe you can try them out and see if the problem happens anywhere else in the game, or at least get you past the Prologue screen (if you don't mind the name "Bighead" ). http://www.mediafire.com/download/u0wlgx...e+Files.7z 07-06-2015, 12:57 AM

Yeah it is still happening. If it helps, I can post the problem details and system configuration that I get every time it crashes. Not sure if it will help, but here I go.
Code: Process: Dolphin [5122]
Update your OS (to v10.10.4), it could include newer drivers for your Intel IGP (Integrated Graphics Processor).
Update Dolphin to the latest development build. Reset the Dolphin settings to default and try again. Edit the .ini file to disable GPU bounding box for that title (crappy Intel IGP driver for OSX + bounding box on the GPU = lots of issues / crashes) If you still get crashes, the only option is to use BootCamp and install Windows (it has much better drivers for that Intel IGP). 07-06-2015, 02:08 AM
You can't just update the drivers on OSX. At least that's what I think. Driver updates usually come with newer OSX versions.
