Don't I have to pay for Boot Camp? I know I have to pay for something that lets me run Windows but I can't remember if it was this or something else.

I tried everything imaginable to reproduce the crash by matching your conditions performance-wise in single core, as far as underclocking my CPU while running video encoders + prime95 torture. Not a single crash. I haven't completely 100% accepted that it's entirely a driver issue, because I can force it to crash in this same spot (although under diffferent circumstances). The only way that I can reproduce it every time, is with with dual core + custom textures enabled + one very specific 512x256 texture that is scaled to 2048x1024.
Spoiler: Unknown Pointer 0x03384d40 PC 0x805bb*** LR 0x805bb*** Cutting the custom texture in half (1024x512) prevents the crash (at least on my system), but the font takes a huge hit to quality. It's strange to me because this font texture is already used in the game before this point, and it is fine up until just after the boat sails by. There are other large textures in that pack that cause the emulator to crash in dual core, but the occurrence is more random and I never bothered to hunt them all down since dual core does some weird stuff to that game anyway. For example, when an area loads, it assembles the textures in a completely random order compared to single core that transitions normally. So although you have dual core disabled, it would be something if further reducing the dimensions of that font texture below the original would prevent your crash. It destroys the font's appearance (256x128), and I doubt this will work anyway, but you're almost out of options so it won't hurt to try. To use it, copy G8ME01 folder to: Dolphin User Folder\Load\Textures\, and in the Dolphin graphics config under Advanced, check Load Custom Textures. http://www.mediafire.com/download/otzwrf...exture.zip Use the latest development build. You'll know it worked if the font looks at least twice as bad as the default one. If we're lucky, there may be a link to both our issues. If not, then it's two separate issues that just happen to occur in the same spot, quite possibly affected by video card/GPU/driver. But our hardware vastly differs, and this guy has something completely different than both of us. 07-09-2015, 02:23 AM
