need info on save data.

I recently had my OS drive destroyed and now that dolphin puts data in user data i'm SOL to get it back. bummer. So I'm trying to recover the data and need to know what to look for. I know the save states are in Wii\title\00010000\534f5545\data or something but if I do a clean install of Dolphin do these numbers remain the same? Also what is the extension of a save state, and would the file name match the rom file name?

the title id 0001000\534f5545 is always the same for the same game,
the actual save files are stored in these folders and the naming convention unfortunately is determined by the game,
if you used savestates they are in a different folder, and these have the gameid of the game as their name

Ok, Io dont use save states but rather save data. What format is the saved data, a dat file?

Ok I found it looks like a .sav file.
