Need help with settings

As the title says, i would need some help here with chosing what settings are best for my computer. So far ive been playing SSBM, at the start screen i get 47-51 fps but when i start a game to fight the fps reduces to 14-32 fps, still playable but hard to follow around. Ive also tried Zelda: Wind Waker but nothing good there either, 8-11 fps wherever you go except rooms that are kinda empty, 20-31 fps in there. Also tried Twilight Princess, for GC and Wii (GC is the chinese version, dont ask why i dled it xD) Both ran on 10-14 fps, didnt drop below nor did it go higher. Im using the emulator released by mamario, r5731 and the settings has not been touched. (GC is the chinese version, dont ask why i dled it xD)

uh i guess it was wrong of me trying to get some help here, ill just leave it anyway..
