I've been trying to figure out the tilt controls for the Rolling Masterpeice Galaxy (In SMG2) but I can't get them down. The entire level is unplayable because I don't have the config.

Galaxy I'm referring to.

I have a 360 pad and a keyboard/mouse. Anybody have suggestions or layouts I could use?

Thanks for reading. Big Grin

..........

I'm having the same issue using a PS3 controller. I can't get the tilt to work properly. Do people actually help people in this forum?

And you're point is? I used the search bar to see if anybody else was experiencing the same issue and I found someone who was. Why would I create a new thread if one already exists? Ridiculous. No harm in bumping a relatively old thread. And you act as if it's years old or something. And what do you mean "for no reason"? I'M SEEKING HELP HERE.

Your post deserves a massive face palm.

This was nowhere near evident from your initial post. No one would have realized you needed help from that they would have assumed, like ExtremeDude2 and myself, that you just resurrected an old thread just to post a face palm.

Your post deserves a slap in the face and no answer for being so rude and oblivious.

Anyway there is a similar stage in SMG1. Before I used an actual wiimote on dolphin I just mapped the tilt directions to the second control stick on my 360 pad. Unless SMG2 has added some new dynamic it was fairly obvious what needed to be done.

"Resurrecting an old thread just to post a face palm"? Wow......really? Nice job reading what I wrote before that, buddy. Here's the initial post, just in case you forgot to actually read what I wrote.

Let's see here.

1) I posted in a thread made by someone who needed help configuring tilt to a gamepad.

2) I stated that I'm also having the same issue. along with mentioning that I couldn't get the tilt to work properly.

3) Following from 2, why else then would I post in here if I didn't need help?? Do I need to explicitly say "I NEED HELP", to get help?

4) Anyone with an iota of basic reading comprehension skill could see that I wanted help.

Look, I don't mean to come off as condescending or like a jerk, but come on now, this isn't rocket science here. And this isn't blues clues either. There was nothing mysterious about my initial post and nothing malicious about it either, it's pretty damn obvious I posted with the intention of getting a reply that would help solve this issue.

Anyway, I figured it out already. I simply mapped the tilt motions to the left analog stick. Thanks for the help, though.

Well your still coming off as condescending but oh well. I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong. I didn't see you statement, likely others didn't as well, because for some reason there is a solid line at the end of your post with the relevant information coming after it. Shown below to illustrate properly. Auto merge maybe? It looks like the line that separates a post from a user's signature which most people completely ignore. Thanks to crappy signatures, not necessarily here but on the net in general, my eyes are trained to ignore them. Sorry about the confusion, but all that could have been cleared up earlier if you didn't feel the need to be so condescending.

Ooops. That's my fault. I didn't see the solid line either. It looks like a sig, and I'm not sure why it appeared like that. Sorry for lashing out and for the misunderstanding.
