It depends on the game. The faster your processor is, the better the chances are that a game will run at full speed. If you're having an issue getting a game to run at full speed, the chances are excellent that your hardware isn't good enough.
Asus Laptop: K53TA
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit - SP1
CPU: AMD Llano A6-3400M, Quad-Core, 1.4GHz-2.6GHz (Overclocked)
GPU: AMD Radeon HD6650M, 1GB GDDR3 (Catalyst 13.1)
RAM: Samsung 4GB DDR3-1333

Your CPU base on Bulldozer architecture . It performs well with multi-threaded application , Dual Core application like Dolphin will run really slow because Bulldozer single threaded performance is so terrible that people have to call it as "Faildozer"

You should get an i5 3570k @ 4.5GHz (overclocked) + Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 for demanding games
FX 8350 @ 4.0 is slower than i5 2400 @ 3.4GHz in Dolphin
Dolphin Benchmark

Most PC games don't take advantage of 8 cores CPU . i5 3570k destroy FX 8350 in most games
However , there are a few games like battlefield 3which can take advantage of 8 cores FX 8350 -> FX 8350 beat i5 3570k

FX 4300 @ 3.8GHz is newer and faster than FX 4100 @ 3.6GHz but FX-4300 still be beaten by its predecessor Phenom II x4 3.2GHz in most benchmark (except single theaded benchmark)
http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/700?vs=88
Phenom II x4 won't stand a chance against first gen Core i5
i5 3570k is 3rd gen

Edit : As for Xenoblade , you can use my setting and Dolphin version (Post # 126) . though i can't promise you will have good result as mine (FX 4100 is slower than i5 480M in single-threaded performance )
