i was recently playing Donkey Kong Country Returns and because of my poor fps, i got stuck on a stage and couldnt progress..i decided i would download a save file from someone who had already completed the game so i could at least play thru the rest of the game..when i downloaded the save file and imported it to the dolphin, the folder it went to was completely different than the DK Country folder..i tried moving the save file to the DK Country save folder manually, but when i start the game, i get a error saying my file is corrupt and either delete or continue without saving..any idea how i can get the save to work for this game? thanks

Did you download the correct region save file? American for an American ISO or European for European ISO. I see no reason it would put it in the wrong place if you use the emulator's import function unless there's something wrong with the save file itself.
Windows 7 64bit

yes, the game is the US version and i have downloaded saves from a couple of different sites..both said for US..this has me stumped..because i cant figure out why the emulator doesnt recognize the save
